Quentin Burley is an undergraduate student at The Ohio State University pursuing his BFA in Dance. He has studied ballet and modern dance for 10 years at Ballet Western Reserve in Youngstown, Ohio under Anita Lin and Richard Dickinson. His modern training has come from Karen Westerfield, a graduate of OSU, Cathy Maschek and Tan Tamel. Through Ballet Western Reserve he has performed in shows from Classical Ballet to Post-Modern work. He has attended dance workshops including a Movement Research Choreography Workshop with Jennifer Monson. He is attending OSU with scholarships through The Diversity Scholarship Fund and The Provost Scholarship. He attended Poland Seminary High School and graduated in Spring 2009. He is currently dancing with Esther Baker-Tarpaga and various Graduate students throughout The Department of Dance. He is also choreographing his own work for the Department’s Winter Concert.
