  Elizabeth Durrenberg
profile picLiz Durrenberg is a graduate of Centerville High School and happy to be pursuing her love for performing at Ohio State University. Starting at the age of 3 she trained under Renee Cook and Debra Howard at Howard School of Dance in ballet, jazz, pointe, hip hop, contemporary, and tap. She began to choreograph group pieces and solos for the studio as well as substitute taught young dancers. For 4 years she was a Centerville Coed Dance Team member and an officer for 2 years. She enjoyed being a dancer in the Centerville Dance Company for 2 years under the direction of Tenille Redmond where she continued to train and choreograph. Liz has also attended Point Park University's International Summer Dance intensive as well as several other local dance and theatre intensives. She has pursued choreographing by performing award-winning solos for American Dance Association and Creative Dance Productions solo pageants for 3 years.
During high school Liz found another love also on stage, musical theatre. Her favorite roles include Dominique DuMonaco in Lucky Stiff and Maggie Jones in 42nd Street. Student choreographing for Once Upon a Mattress was also a wonderful learning experience. More recently, she loved being part of OSU's production of AIDA. Other performances include Epiphany Lutheran's Seussical the Musical as the Sour Kangaroo and a dancer in The Wizard of Oz.
Liz is excited to see where her time at OSU takes her, perhaps leading to a career in dance and musical theatre and eventually becoming a nutritionist for dancers.
