Originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, Ellie graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BFA in dance, summa cum laude. Following graduation, she danced professionally with American Repertory Ballet, BalletMet, and Eisenhower Dance Ensemble and was on the faculty at both the Princeton Ballet School and the Eisenhower Dance Ensemble Center for Dance. Ellie is a fellowship student working towards her MFA in Dance at The Ohio State University. In addition to her research in Dance at OSU, Ellie also plans on earning credits towards a Graduate Interdisciplinary Specialization in College and University Teaching.
