Megan Haugen began dancing at the age of 2 in Plano, Texas. She continued to study Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Musical Theater, and Hip Hop as a company member at Dance Industry Performing Arts Center.  As a company member, Megan attended numerous master classes from noteworthy performers and choreographers such as Jason Parsons, Mia Michaels, J.T. Horenstein, and Calen Kurka. In 2010, Megan attended the Beginnings Workshop as an on staff chaperone in New York City with Director, Peter Sklar, where she studied dance and acting.

 Megan also pursued the violin from the age of 12, where she competed in solo and ensemble competitions and performances throughout Texas, until graduating with honors from Plano East Senior High School in 2009.

As an honors student, Megan studied dance from 2009-2010 at Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas, and transferred to The Ohio State University in the fall of 2010, as a dance major, where she will pursue a career as a dance performer and choreographer.
