Anna House, a student at The Ohio State University and native of Columbus, Ohio, has been dancing since the age of four at a local studio called Bartelt Dancers. Trained mainly under the direction of Kathy Bartelt, Judy Spring, and Kelly Icenhour, Anna's background has mostly been focused in both the jazz and tap dance genres, although she loves all styles of dance. She has competed in local and out-of-state competitions such as Tremaine, Jump, LADF where she received the National Judges Choice Award for Outstanding Ensemble and Co. Dance where she received a senior scholarship award. Anna has also studied dance at The Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles and Broadway Dance Center in New York City under various artists. She has been a dance instructor at Bartelt Dancers and has a special interest in contemporary and hip hop. Overall, Anna is very enthusiastic about her dancing career with The Ohio State University's Department of Dance and although she is unsure what her future holds she is looking forward to it! |
