Kelly Hurlburt is an undergraduate student seeking out her BFA in Dance at The Ohio State University. She was brought up in Middletown, Ohio where she studied dance for twelve years at Deweese Academy of Dance Arts. There she pursued her dance training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern, and Character. While studying at Deweese Academy of Dance Arts, she had the extreme privilege of dancing in the Moscow Ballet's production of the "Nutcracker", dancing with numerous performers from a variety of countries in Middletown's Midfest International Festival, and performing in the grand premiere of the Norwegian Opera "Some Sunny Night." She also attended summer dance workshops, in Chicago, at Lou Conte's Dance Studio and at Ballet Theatre Midwest. She is currently in search of a degree in Dance with the hopes of one day using her dance to affect the world, whether it be dancing professionally, teaching, or using dance as a healing power.
