Devon Thor Jones is a student at The Ohio State University. The son of Todd and Nikole Jones, Devon is a graduate of Dublin Scioto High School. Devon has been dancing for 6 years and has cherished every minute of it. He began as a competition dancer and has won many 1st Places, Special Awards, and Title Competitions. Along with a love of performing, Devon also has a passion for choreography. He has choreographed multiple competition dance numbers as well as multiple recital pieces for the studios he has attended. Devon began his dance career at Dance Reach With Mary Rose and ended his studio life at Revolution Dance. Through the years he has excelled at many styles of dance; such as tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary, hip-hip, etc. Devon has trained with such choreographers and teachers as Brooke Perotti, Sabala Grimes, Mike Minnery and many more from conventions and master classes. He is currently working with Shane Carpenter of Shane Carpenter Productions and is a member of Dante Brown’s company, Warehouse Dance. Along with his love for dance, theatre has always been a part of his life. Through his high school career he performed many lead roles such as Cosmo Brown in Singin’ In The Rain, Bobby Strong in Urinetown, Lumiere in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, as well as many others. Through his history in performing he was not only on stage but has also gained much experience with the technical and production sides of theatre and dance. Pursuing his professional career, Devon is always thankful for the love and support of all his friends and family.
